Actitudes hacia la igualdad de género en instituciones de seguridad pública de Campeche

The objective of the research was to describe attitudes towards gender equality and relations among the public security institutions of the state of Campeche (Mexico). An ex post facto design was used. The sample was a not probabilistic one, formed by 150 elements of the said institutions. The instrument used was the Questionnaire of Attitudes towards Gender Equality, validated in Mexico. Significant differences were found in the variables: sex of the participants, their religion, and degree of studies. The individuals of the federal police showed more favorable attitudes towards gender equality than those of the Navy.
