Resonances, Displacement Currents, and Fields of High-Permittivity Material (HPM) Plate for Occipital Lobe Enhancement in 3T MRI

High-permittivity pads have been used to enhance MRI performed in high-field static magnets (1-4). Here we perform an evaluation of fields and displacement currents associated with resonances in a thin pad or plate of high-permittivity material (HPM) in order to formulate basic design principles.
