Accreditation of the General Practitioner Program has been communicated to the University through the Department of Education of the Ministry of Health in 2017. The purpose of this study was to validate the Yasuj University of Medical Sciences General Practitioner Program. Materials and methods: This study is a type of evaluation using accreditation model. The evaluated organization was Yasuj University of Medical Sciences and the evaluated program was the General Practitioner Program. Accreditation of the Yasuj University of Medical Sciences General Practitioner Program was conducted in collaboration with the Secretariat of the General Practitioner Education Council of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. Initially, the internal evaluation of the General Practitioner program was performed by the School of Medicine, and then external evaluation was performed by the secretariat of the General Practitioner Education Council of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. The areas of accreditation included mission and goals, curriculum, student evaluation, student area, faculty, educational resources, program evaluation, upper and executive management, and ongoing revision. Results: Based on the results of the external evaluation, the university's General Practitioner education program was approved for one year. The General Practitioner program had complete compliance in three standards, 24 relative compliance above 50%, 59 relative low compliance 50%, and 20 noncompliance standards. Conclusion: It was approved by the General Practitioner Program, but that doesn't mean the program is working well. In order to improve the quality of this program, it is recommended to hold weekly training sessions in the Faculty of Medicine according to the standards.
