In [1] an admitted Lie group of transformations was studied for the spatially homogeneous and isotropic Boltzmann equation with sources. In fact the author of [1] considered the equation for a generating function of the power moments of the Boltzmann equation solution. This equation is still a nonlocal partial differential equation. However, this property was not taken into account there. In the present paper the admitted Lie group of this equation by using our original method developed for group analysis of equations with nonlocal operators [2–4] is studied. The Lie groups obtained are compared. The lack of [1] is corrected. This research was partially supported by the Office of the Higher Education Commission under NRU project (SUT).
