GLOBAL CONTROLLABILITY TO A TARGET SET OF ADISCRETE-TIME SYSTEM IN BANACH SPACES

The paper deals with global controllability of linear nonstationary discrete-time control systems of the form x(k+1) = A(k)x(k)+B(k)u(k), where the control u(k) is restricted to lie in a subset ­ of in finite-dimensional Banach space U. New necessary and su±cient conditions for global null-controllability and global controllability to an arbitrary target set of the system in Banach spaces are obtained. The results can be considered as extensions to the infinite dimensional case of the results obtained earlier for finite dimensional control systems.
