KARDIYAK CERRAHIDE KARMAŞIK BIR DURUM: VAZOPLEJIK SENDROM

2011
Vasodilatory Shock or Vasoplegic Syndrome following heart surgery using cardiopulmonary bypass has been recently recognized and implicated in life-threatening complications of the peripheral circulation. The underlying mechanism of vasoplegic syndrome that characterized by profound vasodilatation appears very complex, both depends on preoperative and postoperative variables. Therefore, it is a potentially lethal complication with increased morbidity and mortality in patients undergoing cardiopulmonary bypass. In this review, we present that risk factors, pathophysiology, expected complications associated with vasoplegic syndrome and its management. (Anatol J Clin Investig 2011;5(1):65-73).
