The subject of the present investigation is: Collaborative work and its impact on interpersonal relationships in fourth grade students A of the Mercedes de Jesus Molina Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the city of Loja, academic period 2018-2019. Alternative Guidelines; its general objective was to identify how collaborative work affects interpersonal relationships in students; To fulfill the general objective, we worked through the theoretical foundation, diagnosing the current state of the relationship between collaborative work and interpersonal relationships in students; and the approach of alternative guidelines that contribute to interpersonal relationships through collaborative work in students. In the present study a teacher and 19 students of the fourth grade “A” participated. The type of study was descriptive that is framed with a mixed approach, both qualitative and quantitative and a non-experimental design. The methods used were: scientific, descriptive, inductive, deductive, analytical, synthetic and statistical; the techniques: observation, interview and survey; the instruments: observation sheet, interview script and questionnaire; We worked with procedures for diagnosis, theoretical foundation, alternative guidelines. In the end it is determined that one of the shortcomings detected in the present investigation is related to the way in which the working groups are distributed, which is done by affinity, which does not allow to strengthen interpersonal relationships.
