We proposetousean active shapemodelfor correcting aroadmapinastable manner.Active shapemodel candeformitself preserving thegiven basic shapebyrestricting thedeformation toanaffine transformation. Inordertoconsider thetopological connections forroadmaps,weextend theactive shapemodeltonetwork active shapemodel. Itallows todeform roadnetwork globally preserving atopology ofroadnetwork. By iterating thedeformation step, roadnetwork isrefined gradually. Experimental results will showthatproposed methodcanrefine theexisting roadmapcorrectly byfitting aerial image.
