Application of ester oil as lubricant for cooling medium compressor

PURPOSE: To obtain a lubricant suitable for making hydrocarbon which does not contain chlorine and is partially fluorinated and being used as a cooling medium by using an ester obtained from a di- or polycarboxylic acid, a monovalent alcohol, etc. CONSTITUTION: An ester derived from (A) preferably a 2-12C saturated di or polycarboxylic acid and a 2-20C monovalent primary alcohol or (B) preferably a 2-20C saturated monocarboxylic acid and a divalent, trivalent or tetravalent alcohol is used. For example, 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2,3,3,3- heptafluoropropane, pentafluoroethane, etc., used as the cooling medium. COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
