21.3: Power Efficient RGBW AMOLED Displays Incorporating Color-Down-Conversion Layers

We present a novel RGBW AMOLED display that uses color-down-conversion layers to reduce power consumption. The proposed display is calculated to have a 20% reduction in the power consumption compared to a conventional RGBW display.
