Research of Direct Volume Rendering on Underwater 3D Acoustic Energy Field

The underwater acoustic is the most effective way of the submarine detect target. The visualization of 3D acoustic energy field of ship and sub is the key technology in the research of operation environment of sub. The direct volume rendering was realized by applying 3D texture hardware. The results show that the arithmetic can create real time high quality image.
