Dystocia due to janiceps fetal monster coupled with uterine rupture in a cow

2011
Congenital problem may affect a single anatomic structure or function, whole system or part of several systems. Conjoined twins and embryonic duplication can be defined as a progressive series of malformations, ranging from a partial duplication of a part of the body to almost total formation of two individuals. (Unver et al. 2007). Dicephalus is described as an abnormality of complete separation of heads resulting from twinning in human and animals (Gulbahar et al. 2005). Dystocia due to conjoined twin monsters in cow has been reported earlier (Honnappagol et al., 2005 and Jeyakumar et al., 2009 ). The present communication reports an unusual case of dystocia due to janiceps fetal monster coupled with uterine rupture in a cow.
