Impacto Del Capital Human En El Emprendimiento Por Oportunidad En Colombia, Chile Y Ecuador. (Impact of Human Capital on Opportunity Entrepreneurship in Colombia, Chile and Ecuador.)

Spanish Abstract: Resumen El presente trabajo encuentra los principales factores que inciden en el emprendimiento por oportunidad en Colombia, Chile y Ecuador, con base en los datos del Global Entrepreneurship Monitor -GEM, 2014- y la Tasa de Actividad de Emprendimiento -TEA-. Para ello, inicialmente, se empleo el metodo multivariado de Analisis de Correspondencias Multiples. Posteriormente, se estimo un modelo logit binomial, para cada uno de los paises. Se encontro que, tanto el capital humano formal como informal, son determinantes para generar emprendimiento por oportunidad. Asi mismo, la experiencia, el conocimiento empirico, el genero y la edad. Por ultimo, al incluir en el modelo el nivel tecnologico del sector (medio-alto), se estimo que en Chile hay un mayor impacto sobre el emprendimiento. English Abstract: The present study finds the main factors that influence entrepreneurship in Colombia, Chile and Ecuador, based on data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM, 2014), and the Entrepreneurship Activity Rate - TEA. For this, initially, the multivariate method of Multiple Correspondence Analysis was used. Subsequently, a binomial logit model was estimated for each of the countries. It was found that both formal and informal human capital are determinant to generate entrepreneurship by opportunity. Likewise, experience, empirical knowledge, gender and age. Finally, by including in the model the technological level of the sector (medium-high), it was estimated that Chile has a greater impact on entrepreneurship.
