Análise térmica de abrigos individuais móveis e sombrite para bezerros

This work aims at evaluating and analyze the thermal environment in different types of individual calves structures in summer and winter seasons. The treatments were consisted of: black globe directly exposed to the sun (T1); shade structure (T2); individual hut, open sides (T3); individual hut with three closed sides (T4). In order to evaluate the microenvironment of the treatments, the Black Globe and Humidity Index (BGHI) and the Radiant Heat Load (RHL) were estimated. The result was 91.97, 87.44, 84.03 and 84.54 of BGHI in Spring and in Summer, and 78.46, 74.92, 72.49 and 72.40 in Autumn and Winter, concerning T1 to T4 treatments, respectively. There was no significant difference between the treatments T3 and T4. In order to save, the use of shade structure is recommended in Autumn and Winter . The open hut would be appropriate in Spring and Summer
