The waterborne paint for magnalium comprises primer paint and finish paint, wherein the primer paint is prepared from 20-60 parts by weight of waterborne epoxy resin, 5-10 parts by weight of amino resin, 1-5 parts by weight of organic silicon resin, 5-15 parts by weight of a pigment, 1-5 parts by weight of a passivation assistant and 10-30 parts by weight of water; the finish paint is prepared from 30-80 parts by weight of waterborne polyester resin, 5-10 parts by weight of amino resin, 5-15 parts by weight of filler, 1-5 parts by weight of assistants and 10-30 parts by weight of water. According to the waterborne paint for magnalium, the resin and the assistants in the primer paint and the finish paint have a synergistic effect, so that the primer paint cannot react with magnalium materials or produce bubbles, is good in adhesion property and has the color adding function and good wetting dispersity.
