Preparation of Diisocyanates of Adamantane and Diamantane

Abstract The 1,6‐ and 4,9‐diisocyanates of diamantane have been prepared for the first time by treatment of the corresponding diamines with triphosgene. Also, 1,3‐diisocyanatoadamantane was prepared through double Curtius rearrangement of 1,3‐adamantanedicarboxylic acid.
