Investigation on Shielding Effectiveness Measurement Technology of Frequency Stirring Reverberation Chamber

The reverberation chamber is an electromagnetic compatibility measurement site. It achieves the desired field distribution characteristics by using the rotation of metal stir, which has the defects of complex testing device and long testing cycle. In this paper, a method of frequency stirring reverberation chamber is proposed, and the effectiveness of frequency stirring is verified by simulation calculation and experimental measurement. The shielding effectiveness of the shell of a small VAV is measured by this method. And the results show that the frequency stirring reverberation chamber could got the statistics of the electromagnetic field in the shell of the VAV, and the shielding effectiveness of the enclosure in the 1~10GHz band was about 8~10dB. The probability that the deviation of different measuring positions less than 3dB was 94%.
