Volatile Components of Peel of Lime Species

Components of peel of Key Lime and Tahiti Lime were analyzed by GC-MS in Yunnan Dehong.Results indicated that total 17 and 24 components were tested from two lime varieties,Hydrocarbons were the most abundant compound of lime,respectively,with major characteristic aroma components as limonene,followed by β-Pinene and γ-Terpinene.Larger characteristic aroma contents were found in Tahiti lime.
