Nonequilibrium phenomena in nanoalloys: From nucleation to ageing

Abstract Nonequilibrium phenomena occur at different stages in the lifetime of a nanoalloy, starting from its nucleation, followed by growth, coalescence, ripening, and ageing. Each of these processes has its own complexities, which often need concerted efforts in experiment and modeling to be properly understood.
