Thermodynamic Probability of Obtaining Boron, Carbide and Boron Nitride from Potassium Tetrafluoboron and Boron Oxide at Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis
2010
A thermodynamic analysis of the reaction for obtaining boron, carbide and boron nitride upon the basis of KBF 4 and B 2 O 3 at self-propagating high-temperature synthesis was conducted. It is suggested that most acceptable results are expected at magnesium-thermal reduction of KBF 4 . © 2010 Bull. Georg. Natl. Acad. Sci.
