Power Control of Micro Hydro-Wind based Hybrid Autonomous System using Nine Switch Converter

2019
This work centers around the control of a wind-micro hydro based Autonomous System utilizing a Nine Switch Converter (NSC). The micro-hydro system in this work is viewed as a 22kW self excited induction generator bolstered from a consistent power supply and the wind system comprises of a 7.5kW DFIG. A NSC is used for interfacing and control of both the systems. The NSC through one lot of three phase terminals controls the rotor power control of the DFIG and then again controls the power flow of the SEIG system through the other arrangement of its three phase terminals. The presentation of the system is assessed by exposing the system to various sorts of loads, for example, Linear RL, dynamic and non-linear load. The reenactment results are displayed and examined in this work.
