1P-180: Fabrication of graphene film by electrospray using positively and negatively charged graphene oxide

2016
Graphene films have been studied for a variety of applications such as field emission display, transparent electrodes, and the field effect transistors. Electrospray deposition is solution-processed technique that can be applied in industry due to low-cost and high-speed processing time. In this study, we developed multilayered graphene oxide (GO) film by electrospray of positively and negatively charged GO solution followed by several reduction methods such as chemical and annealing reduction. Electrical conductivity (S) and optical transmittance of the graphene films have been measured in terms of film thickness and reduction methods. We found that S has been improved by the alternative spray using positively and negatively charged GO instead of using single component. The GO films were characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), atomic force microscope (AFM), and UV- visible spectroscopy.
