Analysis of Financial Statement of Selected Pharmaceutical Companies

The Indian pharmaceutical industry plays an important role in providing employment for millions of people and it also ensures that the essential drugs are available at affordable prices to the vast population. The pharmaceutical industry produce drugs ranges from the normal headache pills to complicated antibiotics and cardiac compounds, almost all type of medicines now made available by playing an significant role in promoting and the nourishing development in the field of medicines. The current study has concentrated on analysing the comparative financial analysis of selected pharmaceutical companies. The study is based on secondary data collected from the financial reports published in the official websites of the company for a period of 5 years from 2015-2019. The data have been analyzed using the ratio analysis. It has been found that the performance of the companies towards profitability is satisfactory. Sun pharmacy has negative results in the initial period.
