Set top box (STB) with wireless charging function and wireless charging method thereof

The invention relates to an STB with a wireless charging function and a wireless charging method thereof and solves the problems that mobile devices are inconvenient to charge and unsafe in the prior art. The technical scheme includes that the STB with the wireless charging function comprises an STB body provided with a power input end, a power module, a drive circuit module, a transmitting coil, an electric energy detection module and a control and communication module, wherein the power module is connected with the power input end and provides low-voltage direct currents for the drive circuit module; the drive circuit module inverts the low-voltage direct currents into high-frequency impulse voltages and loads the high-frequency impulse voltages on the transmitting coil after power amplification, and a secondary coil of a mobile device to be charged generates induced currents under excitation to charge the mobile device; and the electric energy detection module detects change conditions of voltages and currents of the transmitting coil, and the control and communication module controls charging states according to change conditions. The wireless charging function and the wireless charging method thereof are suitable for wireless charging for mobile devices.
