We are on the threshold of a very significant change in business models which will make competitive and sustainable innovation the key to future competitiveness. In this sense competitiveness, innovation and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. The characteristics of an entrepreneur have been widely discussed. It is therefore important to analyse the key factors which contribute to the strength of this key player and consider the relationship between entrepreneurship and talent. Finally the question that needs to be asked is the one of always: Is the entrepreneur born or made? We can only find the answer by positioning the entrepreneur inside his ecosystem. An ecosystem yet to be organised in an efficient way which will only be possible if we face and meet the change of model required in order to make innovation the core of our strategy in forming a society.
