Power Factor Correction With Single Stage AC-DC Non-Isolated Zeta Converter Fed SRM Drive

2021
Recently, many researchers focus on different type of isolated and non isolated converter configurations. The modified non-isolated zeta converter used to improve the input power factor and reduce source current THD. The proposed bridgeless topology deals with reduce the switching losses. In working zeta converter is discontinuous conduction mode for DCM method to utilize a voltage follower approach to require a voltage sensor to speed control for PFC operation. This research work will be designed to operate large range of speed and wide range variation in input voltages with high power factor. The principle ofworking and design, steady state analysis, dynamic analysis and overall control unit design for constructed for this converter. The proposed bridgeless zeta converter with Proportional Integral (PI) control strategy reduces the THD will 5% and to maintained unity power factor. Recreation considers are completed in MATLAB and results are confirmed. Model of the proposed for PFC will be inherent consistence with the IEC norms to approve the simulation and hardware results.
