This control device for a permanent magnet-type rotating electrical machine 100 is provided with: a current coordinate transforming unit 109 which coordinate-transforms three-phase alternating currents detected from current detecting units 111, 112, 113 to output a d-axis current and a q-axis current; a current correction direction calculating unit 108 which calculates a current correction direction by using the d-axis current and the q-axis current; and a current correction amount adding unit 102 which corrects a d-axis current command and a q-axis current command on the basis of the current correction direction. Accordingly, an induced voltage is converged into the maximum voltage circle corresponding to a power supply voltage.
