[Non-small cell lung cancer simultaneously metastatic to the brain treated by lobectomy and stereotactic irradiation].
2005
Abstract We performed left upper lobectomy in 64-year-old man with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) simultaneously metastatic to the brain. He was treated by stereotactic irradiation (STI) 2 months later after lobectomy. He has been doing well now without recurrence for 5 years after the operation. We think that STI and radical lobectomy are good alternatives for patients with NSCLC metastatic to the brain.
