Postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation for primipara after term eutocia of single newborn

Objective To explore the effects of biofeedback combined electrical stimulation treatment to postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation for 120 primiparas after term eutocia of single new born.Methods One hundred and twenty primiparas after term eutocia of single new born were chosen and randomly divided into two groups with 60 primiparas in each gruop.Primiparas in the control group were given general postpartum rehabilitation education while premiparas in the experiment group were given biofeedback combined electrical stimulation treatment in addition with general postpartum rehabilitation.Indicators as uterine prolapse,vaginal wall prolapse,hemorrhoids,urinary incontinence,lumbosacral pain incidence were measured.Primiparas' pelvic floor muscle function recovery effect were evaluated by the urinal pad experiment and sex life questionnaire etc.Results Statistically significant difference(P 0.05) exited in the probability to have pelvic floor dysfunction such as urinary incontinence,uterine prolapse,vaginal wall prolapse,hemorrhoids and lumbosacral pain between the two groups,with 8.3% in the experiment group and 40.0% in the control group.Conclusion Postpartum pelvic floor rehabilitation treatment can enhance parturients' pelvic floor muscle function and prevent and treat pelvic floor functional disorders with certain efficacy.It'll benefit parturients' life quality and health.
