The oil receiving box of the sewing machine comprises a box body and an oil discharger arranged at the bottom of the box body, wherein the oil discharger can be omitted from the outer side of the box body, and a magnet element is installed at one end, located in the box body, of the oil discharger. As the magnet element can attract scrap iron flowing into the box body along with lubricating oil, when the oil discharger is detached for oil discharging, the magnet element can be taken out along with the oil discharger, then a user only needs to clear up the scrap iron gathered on the magnet element, the trouble of disassembling and assembling the box body is avoided, and therefore the oil receiving box of the sewing machine not only can remove scrap iron in the box body, but also can avoid the trouble of disassembling and assembling the box body when the scrap iron is cleared up.
