Allgemeiner Staubgrenzwert: Teil 3 (von 4): Rechtliche Bestimmungen, allgemeine Hinweise, Kommentar zur Anwendung und zum Geltungsbereich

Effective from September 2001 the new general dust limit value was set in force in the Federal Republic of Germany. It consists of two limit values for the respirable fraction - 6 mg/m 3 for special areas and 3 mg/m 3 for all the other workplaces - and one limit value of 10 mg/m 3 for the inhalable fraction. Following parts 1 and 2 of this publication dealing with general aspects, workplace exposure and aspects concerning the application in practice, the third part presents the full text of the legal regulations and gives general information on the extensive rules for the in situ application of this limit values, their scope, and detailed comments too. For a better understanding a lot of background information is given.
