Study on the Design Method of a New-style Sinusoidal Noncircular Gear

Based on converting sine function to a suitable form and treating this function form as a rotation relationship,a new-style noncircular gear forms with convex,smooth and closed features,named sinusoidal gear is presented.The design method,transmission characteristics and the parameter of the pitch curve are discussed.Besides,the principle and design method of high-order and deformed-style of the sinusoidal gear pair are investigated.The shape of each gear pair is presented.At last,the usage of the sinusoidal gear on the transplanting mechanism is illustrated.
