Compositions for sublingual and buccal films

A dose composition film comprising: a. A polymer support matrix; b. A therapeutically effective amount of buprenorphine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; c. A therapeutically effective amount of naloxone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and d. A pH regulator in an amount to provide a local pH of said composition sufficient to optimize absorption of buprenorphine in which case said composition has a pH of Local 2 to 4 value.
