The chain type vehicle frame device comprises a vehicle frame, multiple axles and a guide wheel assembly. The guide wheel assembly comprises oil cylinders, guide wheels and an installation frame. The guide wheels are rotationally installed on the installation frame. The installation frame is hinged to the vehicle frame. The oil cylinders are hinged to the position between the installation frame and the vehicle frame. The chain type vehicle frame device further comprises a chain assembly which comprises chain wheels and first chains. The chain wheels can be rotationally arranged on the vehicle frame. Each axle is connected with the corresponding first chain. Each first chain is wound around the corresponding chain wheel and connected to the installation frame. The vehicle body stability of the road and railway dual-purpose vehicle is improved through the chain type vehicle frame device, so that the safety of a railway and an engineering operation state is improved.
