Glass used as a dental porcelain veneer, preparation and use thereof

2012
The present invention relates to glass for use as a dental porcelain veneer, the glass composition in percentage by mass: SiO250% ~ 70%, B2O36% ~ 17%, Al2O36% ~ 25%, Na2O1% ~ 10%, K2O17% ~ 30 %. The glass at 700 ℃ ~ 1100 ℃ obtained by heat treatment leucite glass-ceramic stone having different coefficients of thermal expansion, the crystallized glass contains only tetragonal leucite crystals, and the size of leucite crystals is less than 4μm. The leucite glass-ceramic having good thermal stability: After a program porcelain 10, a thermal expansion coefficient of the crystallized glass leucite variation less than 2%, and incubated at 120min porcelain temperature 850 ℃ process, the size and number of leucite crystals did not change significantly. Leucite glass-ceramics can be used as the transparent ceramic veneering porcelain incisal porcelain and use, such as adding a pigment may be used as a body porcelain.
