Sigurnosni mehanizmi internetskih protokola usmjeravanja

2020
Connecting of many sensitive infrastructures to the internet has led to the need to create more secure routing protocols. This paper introduce the most common routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP), their characteristics and modes of operation. Since they did not need security mechanisms for their original work, they are now the most common target of attacks, so this paper deals with some of the most common types of attacks. As a solution, this present three routing protocol security mechanisms: tree authenticated one-way chains, the MW-chain, and hash tree chains. Security mechanisms are based on known cryptographic mechanisms and this paper will provide insight into the mechanisms of the Merkle tree and one-way hash chain.
