Facile Synthesis of 57Fe(CO)5

Abstract An improved, one-step synthesis for Fe(CO)5 designed for use with 57Fe is presented. This method allows for easy recovery of the unreacted starting material, requires low pressures, and avoids the use of specialized equipment.
