The utility model discloses a clutch device for a gearbox output shaft of a lawn mower, which comprises a gasket, a worm wheel, a shaft sleeve I, a torsion spring and a shaft sleeve II which are sleeved on the output shaft in sequence, wherein the torsion spring is sleeved in a sliding sleeve, and the two ends thereof are respectively sleeved on the shaft sleeve I and the shaft sleeve II; a convex rib type helical line wedge block is arranged at the inner hole of the sliding sleeve; a straight claw and a bent claw at the two ends of the torsion spring are respectively propped against an axial plane on one side of the helical wedge block in the inner hole of the sliding sleeve and a helical plane on the other side thereof; a worm is meshed with the worm wheel; the shaft sleeve I is radially and fixedly connected with the worm wheel; the shaft sleeve II is fixedly connected with the output shaft through an elastic pin; a clutch disengaging shaft is vertically arranged beside the shaft sleeve II, the upper end thereof is fixedly connected with a clutch oscillating arm after passing through the upper side of a box body; the two ends of the torsion spring are respectively hooked with the upper side of the box body and one end of the clutch oscillating arm; and the other end of the clutch oscillating arm is hinged with a clutch operating mechanism. The utility model has the advantages that the structure is compact and the radial dimension is smaller; and the sliding sleeve has convenient processing, assembly and maintenance and low manufacturing cost by adopting an overall structure.
