Clinical efficacy observation on BanxiaxiexinTang combined with rabeprazole in treatment of peptic ulcer

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine preparation BanxiaxiexinTang combined with proton pump inhibitor rabeprazole for the treatment of peptic ulcer.Methods In our hospital from January 2010 to May 2013 78 cases of peptic ulcer patients treated taking treatment modality contrast,were randomly divided into two groups,one treatment group of BanxiaxiexinTang combined with drug rabeprazole combination therapy,the control group used the drug treatment alone,rabeprazole-based,two groups were compared the efficacy and incidence of adverse reactions.Results The cure rates of treatment and control groups were 87.18％ and 76.92％,total effective rates were 94.87％ and 87.18％ respectively,showing statistically significant difference (P ＜ 0.05).The adverse reaction rate of treatment group (2.56％) was much lower than that of control group (7.69％).Conclusion BanxiaxiexinTang combined with rabeprazole has more precise treatment for peptic ulcer,with lower incidence probability of adverse reaction.
