Preparation and coating technology of pressed PBX

In order to obtain high energy low sensitivity explosive,CL20 was used as the base explosive to make pressed PBX by water slurry method.The orthogonal experiment for optimizing process was designed,and factors affecting the coating effect were investigated through single factor tests.The result indicates that the order of influencing factors for coating effect is temperature,second addition of the solvent,the adding rate,agitating rate.The optimized technical condition is experiment temperature of 60 ℃,second addition of the solvent to the polymers of 4∶1,the adding rate of 0.86 mL/s and the agitating rate of 650 r/min.The characteristic height H50 of the hit sensitivity of coated samples is higher than that of CL-20 by 30 cm.
