Space-based Optical Burst Switching Assembly Algorithm Based on QoS Adaption

In order to improve the performance and quality of service (QoS) guarantee of space-based optical burst switching networks, this paper proposes a burst assembly algorithm appropriate for on-board optical switching, which adaptively adjusts the time threshold according to the QoS priority to reduce the assembly time delay of the high-QoS services without extra overhead. The simulation results indicate that compared with the traditional assembly algorithm based on hybrid threshold, the assembly time delay of high-QoS services can be reduced by 2.81%-14.68%.
