Design of ZYNQ-Based Dynamic Configurable Optical Fiber Communication Test Equipment

Under the ZYNQ platform, with the help of the high-bandwidth and low-latency characteristics of optical fiber communication, high-speed data transmission with other devices can be achieved. However, when the optical fiber communication rate needs to be changed, the traditional method needs to modify the logic and recompile the project, which is not conducive to the maintenance of the system. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of dynamic configuration of the fiber communication rate, designing the fiber communication control logic on the PL (Programmable Logic), transplanting the Linux operating system on the PS (Processing System) and running the fiber communication software interface. With the help of FPGA’s reconfigurable technology, by dynamically loading different bitstreams during system operation, different transmission rates of optical fiber communication are realized, which increases the flexibility of the system.
