Statistical Potential of Atomic Ions

The equation for statistical potential O(x, Z, z) for atomic ions of nuclear clarge Ze and Z - z electrons has been integrated in high accuracy by means af computers. Tables are given for O(x) for various values of the parameter z/Z, i.e. for ions of any atom to various degrees of ionization.
