Optimization of Microwave-assisted Extraction Technology of Puerarin from Radix Puerariae by Orthogonal Experiment

Using 50%(volume fraction) ethanol as extracting regent,puerarin was extracted from radix puerariae of Pueraria montana by microwave-assisted craft.Orthogonal test was adopted to optimize the craft taking extraction ratio of puerarin as index.The optimum extraction conditions were as follows,materials to solution ratio,1∶40(m∶V,g/mL);Microwave power,500 W;Microwave extraction time,5 min.The extraction ratio of puerarin could reach 3.51% under the condition.Compared with heating refluxing extraction method,the extraction ratio was increased by 19.79%;While extraction time was shortened by 90%.
