Study of plasma leptin expression in patients with acute leukemia

Objective To investigate the levels of plasma leptin in patients with acute leukemia(AL).Methods There are 25 cases in AL group,while 25 normal persons in controls.The expression of the levels of leptin in the plasma of AL patients and normal persons using mdioimmunoassay method Wag analysed.Results The plasma leptin levels were 19.6±3.48μg/L and 32.89±6.56μg/L in the two groups respectively with statistical difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion The plasma leptin level in patients with AL is lower than that in normal controls.
