Rotation Center Calibration of CT System Based on Geometric Analysis and Iterative Correction

2018
CT, which is the abbreviation of computer tomography, plays an important role in our daily life in medical testing, industrial testing, security testing and air transportation. Due to the inevitable error in installing a CT system, the quality of the reconstructed images tends to fall. Therefore, the CT imaging system’s parameters calibration is of great significance in particular situations. In this paper, the first-generation CT machine is used to calibrate the rotation center of the specific template by using the geometric analysis method, and the iterative correction method is used to further improve the accuracy of the rotation center, so as to improve the accuracy of image reconstruction and accuracy. In addition, the employment of filtered back projection algorithm completes the task of rebuilding the images and achieves a higher accuracy.
