The Art and Architecture of Faith

When Queensland became a state in 1859, both the Anglican and Catholic churches formed a new diocese based in Brisbane. This year in 2009, each is celebrating its sesquicentenary. The Catholic and Anglican cathedrals in Brisbane make an interesting contrast, not only in their architecture, but also in the theology of the arrangement of the liturgical space.
