Predicting Group Choice: an Experimental Study Using Conjoint Analysis

2015
Group decision making occurs in a variety of contexts. Yet there are limited studies that attempt to predict group choices as a function of individual preferences. This study examines the usefulness of conjoint analysis in the prediction process. An actual experiment was conducted in which both individual and group choices were determined. The results show that Conjoint Analysis may be a fruitful way of predicting group preferences.
