Outcome of Pregnancy in a Phenylketonuric Mother After Low Phenylalanine Diet Introduced from the Ninth Week of Pregnancy

A mother with classical phenylketonuria was treated from the ninth week of pregnancy with a tyrosine augmented, low phenylalanine diet. Assessment of the infant up to the age of twelve months suggests normal development, although further follow up is planned.
