Fulminant Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome After Calcineurin Inhibitor-belatacept Conversion in a Lung Transplant Recipient.

Belatacept is increasingly used in lung transplant (LTx) recipients intolerant to calcineurin inhibitors (CNIs), with satisfactory outcome.1 We describe a case of fatal acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) that developed in a single LTx recipient after starting a belatacept-based immunosuppres
